York!York!The yankees have won 27 world series in 87 years. 87 years may sound like a lot of time, but it really isnt for how many world series they have won. Other than all the world series that the Yankees have won, they also won many games in general. The yankees have made New Yorkers very proud of where they live and the team that they root for. The most famous Yankees player right noe is Derek Jeter, Derek is an amzing player and is compassionat for the game. The yankees go way back to the year, 1879.
